The Neighbor Helping Neighbor Program

At the beginning of 2009 John and Christi Haning implemented the Neighbor Helping Neighbor Program. Due to the challenging economy, the program was set up to allow residents to offer special services for other residents in the community, including handyman services, lawn maintenance, plumbing, car repairs and rides for seniors throughout the park. 

All services were offered at discounts and many were provided free of charge. The program helped residents who had lost jobs or just needed extra income to be able to work, as well as providing needed services for residents. The program was such a success at Fairway Estates that it was covered in the local news.

We have now launched the Neighbor Helping Neighbor program in other Jackson Square Management properties, where it continues to be popular and successful.
